Brain Wonders
Some time ago I found this really cool site called Brain Wonders . I'm always wondering what's happening in Sasha's mind and what the different stages of development are, and particularly, what James and I can do to help in her development. I want to challenge her without overwhelming her. This site explains all of the above.
And speaking of brains, for those of you who haven't had a baby yet or are pregnant, James and I just read in the latest issue of Discover magazine that Yale neurologists recently did a study and found that ultrasound alters the developing brain of embryos. They recommend the procedure not be used for nonmedical purposes!
Here are some new pics of Sasha. Lately her new favorite things to do are look through books (either look through the pictures or pull them off the shelves! You can see the books scattered across the floor in some of the pictures), and the other favorite is to climb up anything she can - whether it's up on the bookshelves, the coffee table, or up mommy or daddy's leg! : )

Great site!
She's really going to enjoy mountain climbing with her dad and mom. I saw some paded steps advertised on TV for little dogs to climb up to get on the couch/bed etc. (the things people think of for dogs). It would be pefect for Sasha and very empowering.
SHE'S AMAZING!!!!
