It's a girl!
Patrik and Caroline had a beautiful girl! She was born Thursday, November 23rd at 5:25 a.m. They didn't weigh or measure her while I was there so I don't have those details. But she's a healthy, beautiful baby!
Caroline had an incredible natural birth. She was amazing! So strong and brave. We are all so proud of you, Caroline! And Patrik was there supporting her at every moment.
Walking (to help baby come down)

Waiting, waiting...

Cooking, eating...

hugging...

laughing...

And after a lot of hard work: beautiful little Akeva...

Proud Daddy

Proud Tia Samantha, Grandma Kitty, and "tia" Aria

The woman on the left is the midwife, Mary Lou. She is so good at what she does. She's very knowledgeable and inspires so much confidence and tranquility.

It's starting!
CAROLINE HAS GONE INTO LABOR!!
They think they're having a girl, but whether it's a girl or a boy, they're going to name the baby Akeva (it means 'thank you' in Patrik's dialect).
I'm on my way over to her place and I will post pictures of the new arrival as soon as I can!

For a walk with Carolina

She's not actually drinking the coffee.. Just sucking on the lid!

She loves putting things on her head and in her hair!

She pays close attention to all her toys, pointing to the things she wants explained.

And on another note, look at this amazing picture of Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica

Videos
It's so exciting to see the things that Sasha is learning to do. They may be very small things, but they amaze James and I. When we first got her the rings you'll see in this video, she didn't have a clue as to what to do with them. Now look at her! : )
This one is of her cute, little kissing sounds: Kisses
And the last one: Ball video

Halloween

James and I carved out this pumpkin (my first time and James' in a long time!)

Check out our cool pumpkin!

We also had a cool bowl of candy for the trick-or-treaters. It had a hand sticking out of it that came down to grab any hand that tried to take out candy! Some of the boys had a lot of fun with it, defying it by grabbing candy from the back and removing it as fast as they could! They loved it. Other little girls would see the hand and say "I don't want any candy" : ( So sweet. So James and I would give it to them. The scary hand didn't faze Sasha! She would reach for the candy and push the hand away when it came down!

Sasha is learning to use her own little cup!
