more videos

I never got the first two videos to work on YouTube so I uploaded them to Multiply.

******************
We don't have our camera yet, but we're thankful to Patti and Pat who have lent us their video camera. Here are some more!

In this first video James has just finished swinging Sasha in this basket, a game which she loves. When he's done, she says "ma!", for 'mas' (More)!

Dancing with Mama

The last three videos are to show how much snow we got!

some videos...

Here are some videos that are a bit longer than usual because they were filmed using a video camera instead of the 30 second ones taken with our little camera.

We're back in Albuquerque. We had such a great time and we really miss everyone already. Thank you guys for everything! We feel so much more relaxed after an intense semester, especially for James. He has finally, successfully finished Chemistry I and II, Calculus I and II and Physics I and II. I am so proud of him!

Sasha loves her grandma. She also had some good alone time with her "bumpa". See pics

Barry and Kathy left a week before we did. Here's Sasha, shortly after they left, wondering where they were.

James gave surfing a try..

and Sasha did too!

James

I love James so much!
There are so many things that I admire about him, and although I tell him as best I can, I figure that the best way is if I write it down and tell the world... and what better time than on his birthday (tomorrow, Dec. 17th).
These are just a few things that I observe in him. None of what I say will do justice to who he really is. But here's an attempt:
James is very intelligent. He's thirsty for knowledge. Every new thing he discovers makes him see how much more there is to learn. Learning about science and the world makes him feel more in awe of God's power. I love that he shares everything with me. When he comes home from school, or after he's read something, he tells me all about it with such excitement. He has a great love for science.
He's a very confident person, with a great sense of humor and is always making people laugh. When people are around him, they can't help but feel calm, comfortable, and happy! No matter what, he will have a smile on his face!
He adores Sasha. He watches her closely and is amazed by how and what she learns.
He's a full-time student, he works, cooks, cleans, and still has so much time and energy for his family.
He's always looking for ways to improve himself. It seems he has an infinite amount of patience.
He has such a sensitive heart. He's sweet and tender, especially with Sasha and I. We are so lucky to be the recipients of all of his love and attention. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect companion in life.

I love you James. I love our life together. You make me so happy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Dear family and friends,
We'll be leaving for Costa Rica on Sunday and will be gone for two weeks. When we get back we'll be in Los Alamos spending time with the Pyburn family for Christmas. We'll see you in January!

Birthday!

Today is Sasha's birthday, as well as her dear granda, Pat!
James cooked a delicious meal (he's an excellent cook, by the way), and Patty brought a yummy dessert, and we had a wonderful evening together.
Happy Birthday! We love you both so much!

Sasha's Birthday

James and I decided to take Sasha to the aquarium for her birthday. It's not until Wednesday but we figured more people could join us on a Sunday. We had a wonderful time. It was so sweet to see how excited Sasha was looking at all the creatures of the sea! Thank you to all of those who joined us!
